“The Athlete Academy and it’s coaches have had a huge impact on my life for the past few years. I was able to successfully come back from an injury at a pace that was comfortable for me and my body, all thanks to the expertise of the coaching team. Over the past couple of months, I have noticed myself becoming not only stronger physically, but stronger mentally.
The coaching at The Athlete Academy provides myself and my fellow athletes with knowledge about how to push ourselves to become stronger and how to get past mental blocks that may be stopping us from becoming physically stronger. While I have seen a huge improvement physically, my mindset about becoming a better athlete has developed me into the person that I am today. I have learned to respect the process of every small movement that we work on, because even those small movements lead to great improvement.
The coaching atmosphere allows every athlete, no matter their skill set, to feel not only welcome to become a better athlete, but welcome to be a part of a family. I am proud to be a member of this gym and this family.”
Terri Alexander
“I am a female & over 50 years old. I have been doing the 5:00-6:00 a.m. adult program for 4 years. The Athlete Academy knows what are weaknesses in my body are and modify my workouts and have actually strengthened these areas so I see my chiropractor less frequently 🙂 I love the warmups, stretching, strength and conditioning workouts.
I feel stronger and find everyday tasks are done easily. I believe the Adult Program they offer is amazing because they hear your needs and are specific in designing your program best suited for YOU. This is the best kept secret in workouts. I feel better as I’m aging that my body is stronger in all the right ways.”
Jack Mitchell
“My name is Jack Mitchell, and I am a member of the Athlete Academy. What brought me here was how well the athletic training was from the group of coaches, but what made me stay was how they treated you like family. If you have an injury, they actually care about making you better so that you can get back healthy as quickly as possible, but not rushing it so that you reinjure yourself.
Their goals are to help you improve as an athlete, by getting faster, stronger, and more aware about how your body is working. They push you so that you can become the best that you can be, and I am grateful for that. I have loved my time at the Athlete Academy, and I can’t wait for more training and memories in the future.”
